JEGUNOVCE VILLAGE

Jegunovce is a village located in the north-western part of the Republic of Macedonia, in the upper Polog plain, some 25-30 km from the nearby city of Tetovo. It is the center of the Jegunovce municipality.

A smelter for chrome was built, which became a massive metallurgical plant, in the region later. The plant was named Jugohrom, and was one of the biggest employment plants in all of Yugoslavia.
